The Curmudgeon Coder Blog

Thoughts, rants and ramblings on software craftmanship from someone who’s been around the block a few times.

About Me

My name is Mike Bishop. I am foremost a husband to my wife Hui-Min and a father to my twin sons David and Sam.

I have been in the software business for quite a while, spending the first quarter-century or so of my career working as a NASA contractor, working on projects involving the Space Shuttle, International Space Station, and human space missions of the future.

After that, I bounced around a bit until I settled into my current position as a software consultant, helping clients improve their software practices through my numerous years of experience.

I am a musician (check out my SoundCloud page), a photographer, an amateur astronomer, a Scrum advocate and a Linux evangelist.
